Internship hours begin in the fall semester and end at the conclusion of the University’s spring semester in May (approximately 42 weeks). In the accelerated program, students take 4 courses per term on average, which are primarily offered in the evenings, with some online and hybrid courses. The accelerated plan of study allows students who start in the summer semester to complete the entire 60 credit program, including the year-long internship/practicum, in a little over two years. Our graduate counseling programs, concentrating in either Clinical Mental Health Counseling (two-year program (PDF)) or School Counseling (two-year program (PDF)), are offered in a standard 3-year sequence or in an accelerated sequence.
